BROWNSVILLE - A 14-year-old girl believed to have been held captive by her stepfather for about two months inside a travel-trailer was rescued by police on Monday.

"She was delirious. She was not in her right mind," Brownsville police Sgt. William Dietrich told The Brownsville Herald for its Tuesday editions. Police said the girl was locked in the travel-trailer.

Her stepfather, an undocumented immigrant, has not been found.
