March 1, 1934 - November 7, 2019

Gladys Heath, 85, of Bryan passed away Thursday, November 7 at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility with her family by her side.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12 at the funeral home with Reverend Randall Bard officiating. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery.

Gladys was born March 1, 1934 in Riesel, Texas to Walter and Ida (Stieg) Kroll. She was very active and liked to stay busy. Gladys enjoyed cooking, dancing, crocheting and sewing; she especially liked being outdoors, gardening and fishing. One of her favorite hobbies was going to garage sales, knowing she would find a great deal of treasures. Gladys was a simple loving women. She attended Bethel Lutheran Church and was a member of the Woodmen of the World.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Heath; son, David Plagens; daughter, Sandra Flatt; brothers, Vernon and Louis Kroll; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her children, Barbara Berry and husband Joe, Billy Plagens, Debbie Perez and husband Larry, Gerald Heath, Shane Heath, Thomas Heath and wife Suzanne; son-in-law, Harlan Flatt; sisters, Dorothy Nelson, Alice Bennett; brothers, Walter Kroll Jr., Charles Kroll, Edward Kroll and Fritz Kroll; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
