June 1, 1956 - October 10, 2019

Kathryn Jean Pearsall, age 63, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2019 in Huntsville, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kathryn was born June 1, 1956 in Bryan, Texas to Dorothy Bond Carroll and Ralph E. Carroll.

She graduated from Bryan High School in 1974. She then went on to work for Houston Independent School District where she retired in 2012 after 20 plus years of service.

Kathryn is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, David Pearsall. She is also survived by her daughter, Laurie and husband David Klippel and their children, Alerie, Hannah, Madison and Kellen; her son, Rodney Freudenberg and wife Jennifer and their children, Hannah, Hayley and Cody, along with her great grandchildren, Kylie, Connor, and Paisley; another son, Matthew Freudenberg and wife Cynthia and their children Cayden and Chase; and her son, Jacob Pearsall and wife Courtney and their children, Madison and Zoe. She is also survived in life by her sisters, Carolyn Carroll and Charlene Carroll; her nieces, Tracy Zervas, Christi Wedel, Krystal Jensen and Ashley Williams; and her best friend, Daphne Graves.

Kathryn had a strong passion for life and enjoyed spending time with her husband, attending events for all her grandchildren and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Texas A&M Aggies and Houston Astros.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, 5:30-7:30pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Full funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 10:00am at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas followed by a burial at Steep Hollow Cemetery in Bryan, Texas at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 526, Dallas, Texas 75244.
