Her pastimes included: bird watching, reading, sewing, playing bridge for 40+ years with her special friends, attending and volunteering at FUMC, genealogy, and spoiling her granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Arlyn and Helen Rose Kubin Pope, and her daughter Lorna Rhea Sewell Kessler (Rob).

Survivors include her daughter Rene' Sewell Skaggs (Tom) and granddaughters Taylor and Avery of Washington state, her sister Glenda Duncan (Bill), nephew Nicholas, and great-niece Emma, all of Bryan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gail's honor to the American Red Cross, FUMC, and Hospice of Brazos Valley.

The bible says that God is a God of comfort based on I Corinthians 1:3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us all in our trails" so may he be of comfort to you and your family during your time of grieving.
