May 23, 1998 - November 24, 2019

Sunday, November 24, 2019, Nolan regained his voice, his body became perfect again, and he got to meet Jesus.

Nolan was born May 23, 1998 in Nacogdoches to Chad and Amanda Whisenant. He grew up in Bryan-College Station alongside his younger brothers and sisters, Joshua, Andrew, Kayelyn, Emery and Aurora.

He cherished family vacations to SeaWorld, San Antonio, Colorado, Disney World, and Branson and enjoyed playing tennis, video games, and chess. Most of all, he loved to create music. It spoke to him and became the language of his heart.

His parents taught Nolan about Jesus at an early age and set his priorities of faith, family, friends and music. He was active and very involved at Wellborn Baptist Church, and he especially loved the church youth group. At 14, he made the personal decision to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Nolan attended Rudder High School and worked part time at Freddy's. He loved choir and served as president. He also helped start the Vox Cor Acapella Group and won the 2016 Rudder High Choir Director's Award.

Nolan will be missed more deeply by family and friends than words can express.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 29, at Hillier Funeral Home of COLLEGE STATION. Nolan's family invites you to a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, at Wellborn Baptist Church with a reception to follow.

Nolan was such an inspiration to others by being a living example of his favorite Bible verse, Matthew 5:16 "Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your father in Heaven."
