January 24, 1955 - November 30, 2017
With great sadness, Gail Winter passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the age of 62. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend to so many.
She will be forever remembered by her husband, Bob; her children, Chris (Samantha) and Jennifer Yost; stepchildren, Lisa (Rob) Pue, Bob Jr., and Becky Winter; her mother Marjorie "Billie" (Jim) Whitten; and her brothers, Glenn (Cheryl) and Ted (Connie) Miears; five grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Gail grew up and went to school in Texas. She then raised a family in Colorado, and happily retired in Minnesota. She was a proud business owner of Merle Norman cosmetics, a lover of Dachshund dogs (her favorite being Molly). Gail had a propensity for spirited competition, especially playing golf and watching football. More than anything, Gail enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She would be anyone's rock or best friend.
Gail will be deeply missed and always remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Memorial Service will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 9, at Bethany Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Rd. Austin, TX 78750. Burial and Celebration of Life will be in Minneapolis, MN at the end January, details will be announced.
