Experience, passion to serve would benefit College Station residents

I am writing in support of my friend, John Crompton, who is running for College Station City Council, Place 2 in the November election. John served with distinction on the city council from 2007-2011. He has advised numerous other municipalities throughout Texas and the U.S. in matters pertaining to development, tourism and administration throughout his years as an internationally recognized authority in these subjects.

John has been engaged actively in leadership roles in many civic activities for over 40 years. In recognition of his considerable contributions to improve the quality of life in College Station, the city council voted in 2004 to name a beautiful park in his honor on West Holleman Drive. He also has been recognized at the very highest levels for his excellence in teaching, public service and research by Texas A&M.

Now, John has made the careful decision to return to active civic service once again as a member of the College Station City Council. His experience, passion to serve and clear vision for the future of College Station are exemplary.

Please join me in voting for John Crompton.
