1) How can I submit a letter to the editor?
The Eagle encourages letters to the editor. No more than one letter per writer will be printed each 30 days. Letters should be no more than 300 words and are subject to editing for length, clarity, libel and good taste. For more information or to submit a letter, click here. 2) How can I find previously published articles?
You can search for previously published articles by using the "Search" box located in the blue bar at the top of each page directly beneath the theeagle.com logo or by clicking here. Our archive includes local stories dating back to March 2000, as well as online coverage of the 1999 Bonfire collapse.
For articles published prior to 2000, the best source of local archives is the Carnegie Library in Downtown Bryan. The can be reached by calling (979) 209-5630 or through their website at http://www.bcslibrary.org/?page_id=56.
3) How can I get a copy of an article or photo?
If a photo is available for sale, a "Buy Photo" button will display below a photo. For more information about purchasing photographs, please email email@example.com.
4) How can I can permission to reprint an article in my publication?
Your request should specify: The story you want to reproduce, the date it was published, the headline, the writer's name and how you intend to use it. Requests should be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Expect a written response within five working days after we receive your request. Please note that submitting a request does not grant permission. You must receive written notification of permission before reprinting any copyrighted content.
5) How can I purchase a back copy of The Eagle?
The Eagle has back copies of the printed edition of the paper from the past 60 days available for purchase at thew newsstand price ($1 per copy for weekday and Saturday issues and for $2 per copy for Sunday issues). Copies of previously published editions of The Eagle are limited in number and subject to availability.
To purchase a back copy of The Eagle, visit our office at 1729 Briarcrest in Bryan (across from the Galleria Building) during normal business hours - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Obituaries, death notices, in memoriams and cards of thanks can be found in our obituaries section. Older obituaries may be found on microfilm at the Carnegie Library in Downtown Bryan.

Obituaries may be emailed to email@example.com, faxed to 979-774-0496 or brought by our office. The deadline for submission is 4 p.m. To inquiry about pricing, photographs, etc., please contact our obituary department at 979-731-4730.

If you know of someone sports-related in the Brazos Valley about to have a birthday, please fax, e-mail or mail us the name, what sport and where. Please also include the date and year of birth. The person must be at least 13 years old.
Send faxes to Robert Cessna at (979) 776-8923. Do not fax pictures, they must be mailed or emailed in. Birthday information and photos can be emailed to email@example.com. Please send pictures in jpeg format. Pictures WILL NOT be returned.
Sports birthdays do not appear online on TheEagle.com.

I have subscribed but I am still having trouble. Whom do I call?

If I have multiple computers or devices, do I need to purchase multiple digital subscriptions?
No. Users are provided a single username and password to access theeagle.com. A login can be used on three different devices, plus the app.
If I already subscribe to the print version of The Eagle, do I receive a digital subscription?
Yes. Customers who already receive a seven-day print subscription to The Eagle can sign up for the All Access program for no additional charge. To sign up, call the circulation department during regular business hours at 979-776-2345 or 1-844-466-1453.
What is All Access?
All Access gives readers the ability to read The Eagle's content anywhere, anytime. All Access includes home delivery of the newspaper and unlimited access to theeagle.com, the mobile version of theeagle.com, the E-Edition (digital replica version of The Eagle) and The Eagle news app.
If you are a current print subscriber, you are part of The Eagle's All Access subscription program.
To log in as an All Access subscriber, click the "Login" link at the top of all theeagle.com web pages and follow the prompts to login. On mobile devices, click the circle logo on the top right side of the screen, select "Sign In' and follow the prompts to log in.

Can I view The Eagle's daily e-Edition if I am a current print subscriber?
Yes. As a print subscriber, you are a part of our All Access program. You can view the e-Edition for no additional charge. To set up an account, call the circulation department at 776-2345 or 731-4661. You can also email email@example.com.
What if I am not a subscriber? Can I read the e-Edition or get an e-Edition only subscription?
Yes. Please click here to purchase a Digital Only subscription, or call the Circulation Office at 776-2345 or 731-4661 with questions.
How do I access the e-Edition?
On a desktop computer, open you web browser and navigate to www.theeagle.com. Click the "e-Edition" link in the navigation at the top left of the site. You can then click on what day's version you wish to read.
My browser says I need to sign in to read the e-Edition. What do I do next?
In order to view the e-Edition, you must set up an account. Please call our circulation office at 776-2345 or 731-4661 for assistance on setting up an account and getting logged in using your account number.
Why is the e-Edition cut off on the right side?
On some devices, such as iPads and tablets, the right side of the e-Paper may cut off due to browser sizes. To fix this, click "hide thumbs" at the top of the e-Edition.

How do I access theeagle.com mobile site?
Open your mobile device's web browser (Ex. Safari on iPhone and iPad) and type www.theeagle.com into the browser.
Can I bookmark the mobile site on my mobile device?
Yes; on most mobile phones and devices, there is an option to bookmark sites to your phone or device's home screen. See the instructions on this process here:
Can I access the full website from my mobile device?
Yes. Press the "full site" button at the bottom right of The Eagle's mobile site.
How do I navigate to all the content on The Eagle Mobile site?
You can click 'Menu' on any page of the mobile site to access a navigation menu. Or, click the circle icon at the top right of the mobile site to access a pop-out menu or to sign in.
Why am I receiving a message to 'sign in'?
Theeagle.com desktop and mobile sites include an All Access program that allow a certain number of free local articles each month before readers are asked to sign in as a subscriber or to purchase a Digital Only subscription. See above answer for more information.
I have purchased a Digital Only subscription or I am attempting to login an an All Access subscriber, and I am still seeing messages that say 'A service is required.' What do I do?
There is a strong chance you are using Private or Incognito browsing on an iPhone or iPad. Turn this feature off to successfully sign in to www.theeagle.com.

Does The Eagle have a mobile app?

I downloaded The Eagle's app and now I am getting a screen asking me to sign in. What do I do?
The Eagle News App is a part of our All Access program. After reading 25 stories a month, readers can choose to come back in 30 days to receive another 25 free local article views. Or, you can login with your Eagle subscription information.
