CARROLLTON — The 11th-ranked Texas A&M men’s golf team shot a final-round 306 and finished in a tie for second at North Texas’ Maridoe Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Maridoe Golf Club.

SMU shot 291 on Tuesday and won the team title at 18-over 882. A&M and San Francisco (302) tied at 42-over 906 followed by North Texas (308–908) and Arkansas State (309–909).

Junior Walker Lee shot 76 and tied for sixth at 222 to lead A&M, followed by senior Brandon Smith (t-eighth, 77–223), freshman Jimmy Lee (t-26th, 78–230), senior Dan Erickson (t-29th, 75–231) and senior Josh Gliege (t-59th, 78–241).

SMU’s Noah Goodwin shot 73 and won the individual title by three shots at 1-under 215.

A&M will end its fall schedule at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Atlanta on Oct. 18-20.
