OKLAHOMA CITY — Texas A&M’s Sarah Orsak won the collegiate horsemanship championship Tuesday at the AQHYA World Championship Show.

After a first-round bye, top-seeded Orsak beat Fresno State’s Nicole Campbell 146.5-132.5 in the quarterfinals and Auburn’s Kelsey Jung 157-152.5 in the semifinals. She nipped Auburn’s Deanna Green 154-151.5 in the title match.

Former A&M rider Avery Ellis also won the event in 2016 and ’18.
