Texas A&M basketball fans that came to Thursday's Maroon Madness event to get a first look at the Aggie men's and women's basketball teams expected to see the player's dribbling, passing and shooting skills.

As a surprise, fans were graced with the dancing talents of several members of the men's and women's squads.

A few beats after the Texas Aggie Dance Team started a routine, players from both teams moved to the center of the court and jumped right into the choreographed dance to the delight of the fans in the stands.

"We love dancing," freshman forward Robert Williams said. "As much as my teammates shove it off, we love dancing. That was the biggest part. We were looking forward to that part."

With a laugh, Williams stressed that players learned the dance outside of their scheduled basketball practice time.
