LAGO VISTA — Cameron’s Braden Brashear passed for 346 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Yoemen to a 45-35 victory over the Lago Vista Vikings in District 10-3A-I play Friday.

Cameron (9-1, 5-1) put the game away on its first two possessions of the fourth quarter as James DeBose scored on a 45-yard run and 74 seconds later, Kobe Young caught a 51-yard touchdown for a 38-21 lead.

Lago Vista (6-4, 3-3) had leads of 6-0 and 14-7, but the Yoemen built a 24-14 lead through three quarters on a 25-yard touchdown catch by Pharrell Hemphill, a 35-yard field goal by Axel Martinez and a 10-yard interception return by Nico Vargas on the first play from scrimmage after the field goal.

Brashear was 17-of-23 passing with Young having seven receptions for 218 yards. Vargas had 71 yards rushing on 12 carries. The Yoe, which finished second in district to Troy (9-1, 5-0), will play West in the playoffs.
