The A&M Consolidated freshman football teams swept two games against Lamar Consolidated on Wednesday.

Jeremy Claudio had over 100 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns — on a 40-yard run and a 50-yard catch — in a 20-0 win for Consol’s freshman White. Miguel De La Santos also threw a 10-yard TD pass to Jayden Rittenhouse. Defensively, Matthew Jones recorded his second interception of the year for Consol (2-4), while Josiah Kibodeaux forced a fumble that Jared Mayberry recovered.

Consol’s freshman Maroon team won 14-0. Consol’s Brock Slaydon had a 55-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage, and Karson Dillard later threw a 15-yard TD pass to Wesley Graves.

Consol’s freshman teams will face Katy Paetow on Oct. 17 with the White playing at 5 p.m. and Maroon at 6:30 p.m.
