A&M Consolidated jumped a spot to third in the latest Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Class 5A Division II rankings released Monday.
Consol (10-0) wrapped up its regular season with a 62-3 win over Cleveland and passed Corpus Christi Calallen, which lost to then-No. 8 Port Lavaca Calhoun and fell to No. 8.
The Tigers will host Longview Pine Tree for a bi-district playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday.
Cameron (9-1) remained at No. 8 in the 3A Division I rankings and will face West in bi-district at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Waco ISD Stadium.
Despite a 51-6 win over McDade, Calvert fell from fifth to seventh in the 1A Division II rankings. The Trojans (7-3) will play Trinidad at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Penelope.
