CAMERON — Cameron senior James DeBose ran for three long touchdowns and added a 63-yard touchdown reception in the Yoemen’s 55-0 victory over the Jarrell Cougars in District 10-3A-I play Friday.

DeBose ended the scoring with 90-yard run with 7 minutes, 20 seconds left in the game after the Yoe (5-1, 2-1) came up with an interception. DeBose made the halftime score 35-0 with a 41-yard run. His first score came from 49 yards to make it 14-0.

DeBose ended with 164 yards rushing on seven carries, getting caught behind the line twice. Nick Vargas added 123 yards rushing on 15 carries with touchdown runs of 12 and 13 yards. Quarterback Braden Brashear completed 10 of 14 passes for 219 yards with three touchdowns, with strikes of 53 yards to Thomas Melton and 3 yards to Billy Collier.

Jarrell (3-4, 0-3) was shut out for the first time this season.
