HOUSTON — Navasota’s Darius Randle ran for 111 yards and three touchdowns and caught one of Zack Dyer’s three TD passes as the Rattlers raced past Houston Worthing 49-15 at Butler Stadium on Friday in District 12-4A-I play.

Navasota (3-4, 3-0) opened the scoring on Darick Henderson’s 5-yard TD run and never looked back. Dyer threw a 94-yard TD pass to La’Darrin Thomas in the second quarter followed by Randle’s 4-yard TD run. Dyer threw a 41-yard TD pass to Thomas, and Randle scored on another 4-yard run for a 35-0 halftime lead.

Dyer competed 9 of 13 passes for 240 yards with one interception. Thomas caught four passes for 157 yards.

Navasota’s defense held Worthing (2-4, 0-3) to 32 total yards of offense, including just 7 yards on 23 carries.

Navasota will host Stafford next week, while Worthing will play Houston Furr.
