Michael Thompson recovered a late fumble, and Colton Watson kicked a 32-yard field goal as time expired to send the College Station JV Purple football team to a 9-6 win over Magnolia on Thursday.

Niam Adams rushed for a 4-yard touchdown for the Cougars’ other points. Adian Porras grabbed an interception, and Bryan DeLeon recovered a fumble.

College Station (6-1) will host Willis at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Lucas Sampson leads College Station JV Black past Magnolia

The College Station JV Black defeated Magnolia by a final score of 27-6. Lucas Sampson ran for a 40 yard TD run while throwing three touchdown passes that included an 8-yarder to Will Henson, a 60-yarder to Orlando Priece and a 45-yard pass to Chris Birch. MJ Hinson had an interception. Sam Trimble kicked three extra points.

Consol JV Maroon loses to Katy Paetow

The A&M Consolidated JV Maroon football team suffered a 33-14 loss to Katy Paetow on Thursday.

Christian Dalsing caught a pair of touchdown passes from different players. Brodie Daniel found Dalsing for a 33-yard TD, and Kyle Collins connected with him on a 65-yarder. Connor Buche kicked both extra points.

Consol (2-5, 2-2) will host Montgomery Lake Creek on Thursday.

Consol freshman teams swept by Katy Paetow

The A&M Consolidated freshman football teams lost a pair of games to Katy Paetow on Thursday.

Consol freshman Maroon fell 38-14, dropping to 3-4 this season. Jackson Frank completed a 66-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Graves, and Mo Foketi rushed for a 1-yard TD.

Consol freshman White was shut out 28-0, dropping to 2-5 this season.

The Tigers will play at Montgomery Lake Creek on Thursday.
