ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The 16th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team lost to Florida 2-1 on Tuesday in the Southeastern Conference tournament quarterfinals at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

Ally Watt scored on a free kick in the 81st minute to give A&M (13-4-3) a chance to force overtime, but Florida (11-7-1) held on.

A&M will learn its fate in the NCAA tournament during the selection show which starts at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
