The season for the Texas A&M volleyball team ended with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-23 loss to fourth-ranked Wisconsin in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament Friday afternoon at UW Field House before 7,052.

The host Badgers (25-6) advance to play the Hawaii-Nebraska winner for a trip to the Final Four. A&M (23-8) was making its first trip to the Sweet 16 in a decade.

The 25th-ranked Aggies, who were seeded 13, were led by Hollann Hans who had 20 kills and five digs. She hit .250. Camille Conner had six kills, five digs and 33 assists.

Dana Rettke had 14 kills for Wisconsin and Molly Haggerty had 12. The Badgers had a 14-2 edge in blocks with four players each having at least three.

Wisconsin outhit A&M .394-.229.
