NEW ORLEANS -- Texas A&M senior Wayne Davis II and junior Deon Lendore made the men's 10-member Bowerman Award watchlist, the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association announced Wednesday.

Florida's Marquis Dendy and Arman Hall, Texas' Ryan Crouser and Johannes Hock, Ole Miss' Sam Kendricks, Arizona's Lawi Lalang, Texas-El Paso's Anthony Rotich and UCLA's Julian Wruck also made the list. Lalang and Wruck were finalists last year.

Davis is the NCAA champion in the 110-meter hurdles, while Lendore took second in the 400 at last year's NCAA outdoors meet. Both helped the Aggies earn a share of the NCAA outdoor team title with Florida.

Indoors, Davis and Lendore also own A&M records -- Davis' 7.59-second time in the 60 hurdles and Lendore's 45.15 in the 400.

A&M will host its High School Classic this Friday and Saturday at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium. The Aggies will compete Jan. 17-18 in a pair of indoor invitationals at Gilliam Stadium.
