Sorry. The buck stops there-- with the Kirbyville school board. The BISD school board (4 members, that is) is responsible for the ridiculous severance Wallis received. I, for one, will remember their names when the school board elections roll around.

Wallis's abrupt departure-- at the beginning of a school year, no less-- with major multiple major construction projects underway, is going to have a negative impact on his resumé. I could be wrong, but I doubt he's got another fabulous job lined up.
